Our Mission
Reaching another generation for the glory of Jesus Christ.
Why it is important?
After Jesus was crucified and resurrected he met with his disciples and gave them one last instruction, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:19-20)
We call this the Great Commission. It summarizes what our primary task is as God’s church. We have restated this commission in a way that helps us understand this mission in our context.
Everything we do as a church should be governed by this statement. We understand that each generation of God’s people are responsible for
giving the gospel to the one that follows. So, we make it our aim to disciple our members for the purpose of taking the gospel to the nations in order
to win more people to Christ for his glory
What We Believe
We believe that there is one God who exists in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
We believe that Jesus is the Son of God, was born of a virgin, was wholly God and wholly man, lived a sinless life, died in our place as a sacrifice for the sins of mankind, was buried, arose bodily from the grave, and ascended into Heaven.
We believe that Jesus Christ will literally return to earth.
We believe that God the Holy Spirit is active in convincing unbelievers of their need for salvation, and is the Comforter and Guide Who lives in every believer.
We believe that the Bible is the Word of God without any error, the sole authority for life and faith.
We believe that man is a special creation of God, made in His image, but that through the sin of the first man, Adam, mankind fell so that all men are sinners and need salvation.
We believe that salvation is a gift received through repentance toward God and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Assurance—We believe that every person who is truly saved is eternally secure in the Lord Jesus Christ.
We believe that those persons who die in their sins without Christ spend eternity in Hell and those persons who die with their sins forgiven through Christ spend eternity in Heaven.
We believe that water baptism is an act of obedience to the command of Christ and is by immersion after salvation.
We believe that the church is a local body of baptized believers with the Lord Jesus Christ as the Head.
We believe that each believer has direct access to God through the Lord Jesus Christ.
We believe in the separation of church and state, but not in separation of God and government. Christians are salt and light in society.
We believe that marriage is a union between one man and one woman, following biblical principles (Gen. 2:19-24, Lev. 18:22, Matt. 19:4-6, Rom. 1:18-27, Eph. 5:22-33, Heb. 13:4). We believe that God sanctions only the union in marriage of a man to a woman.
